The Hawaiian Islands were also known as the Sandwich Islands, comprise a total of 137 islands and atolls. But the main eight islands are in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

- Maui
- Niihau
- Oahu
These eight main Hawaiian islands also known as the Hawaiian Windward Islands. Also all of these islands are inhabited except Kahoolawe which is uninhabited only temporary residential facilities are there. But four of these islands are mainly considered as the the first choice for travel. These islands are Hawaii (Big Island), Kauai, Maui, Oahu.
Hawaii is the 50th state of the United States of America but having very different culture which distinquies it from rest of the America. The capital of the Hawaii is Honolulu which is the largest city of Hawaii and is on the island of Oahu.
The weather in Hawaii is very differnet even on very short distances. So it totally depand on where you are loacated. Although islands are close to equator, so there we find temperatures above 18.0 °C for most of teh year. Whole year can be divided into two seasons one is winter which fells in October to April, and one consider as dry season which fells from May to October.
The main thing of traveling in Hawaii is that you don’t need a passport. But this doesn’t says there are no rules. Exotic animals are prohibited in Hawaii islands although some pets likes Dogs, Cats are allowed. Also any fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers are need to be declared and inspected by Department of Agriculture also you have to fill the form at your point of arrival.
As the matter of fact about transportaion Taxies and other small travel media is will be available at Oahu, Maui or Kauai. As obivious they may be expensive. But there is no transport facilities in Lanai, so be prepared.
English is the main spoken language in Hawaii but also there are some places where Hawaiian language is spoken. U.S. dollars are the local currency of Hawaii.
